The Fund was established to honor the legacy of Boston's former Parks Commissioner, Justine Mee Liff. Her vision, leadership and dedication have encouraged continual restoration and enhancement of these celebrated parks. The Fund supports the Necklace's renewal, including: staffing dedicated solely to these parks, contractors with the specialized skills required to maintain this historic landscape, and the purchase of tools, equipment and park amenities such as trees, lighting, signage, benches, and so on.
