Internships

If you're considering a career in consumer public relations and marketing, marlo marketing/communications offers internships to select college students during the fall and spring semesters as well as full-time during the summer.

Candidates must be extremely detail-oriented, exhibit an enthusiastic personality and have a willingness to learn. Priority is given to students completing an internship for college credit. All internships are non-paid, and at least 15 hours of work a week is required.

Intern responsibilities may include: 

  • Compiling press clips and writing media placement reports to measure public relations results
  • Updating media database
  • Proofreading and editing documents
  • Assisting with special event planning and implementation
  • Working with vendors
  • Conducting research
  • Assisting with administrative assignments
